CARE AIDE (Facility Staff)

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

CANE Health is a growing company that aims to be a trusted partner in every health facility that requires our assistance and to be the main provider of quality services. We are currently looking for reliable, professional and compassionate Care Aides who are enthusiastic about making a positive difference in the lives of residents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide personal care and report observations to the LPN/RN and the direct supervisor.
  • Follow and provide personal care service in accordance with the care plan.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the resident.
  • Observe and record observations, and report issues of concern to the supervisor.
  • Effectively perform delegated clinical procedures – where proper training and competency can be demonstrated.
  • Carry out significant lifting, carrying, bending and reaching with appropriate TLR techniques.
  • Use various lifts to assist residents with transfers in a safe manner.
  • Support and safeguard the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual comfort of residents.
  • Apply and maintain practices that prevent the spread of infection.
  • Taking direction from clinical team.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team and other health professionals to ensure efficient and effective care.
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities with utmost professionalism.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures laid out in the area of assignment.
  • Complete other tasks as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Care Aide (CCA) Certification and/or equivalent education (Required)
  • Six (6) months of relevant work experience in a care facility
  • Current First Aid with CPR (Optional)
  • TLR certification (Required)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current First Aid/CPR certification within last 3 years
  • TLR certification within last 3 years

JOB DETAIL:

Salary – $25.00 per hour
