As a Surgical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Hologic's innovative surgical solutions to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory in collaboration with your Territory Manager. Your goal will be to exceed sales targets, foster long-term relationships with clients, educate Healthcare professionals on our products and clinical outcomes, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory in collaboration with your Territory Manager.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital administrators, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and educational workshops for medical professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and clinical support, to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors' products, pricing, and strategies to inform sales tactics.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and educational events to network and promote Hologic's products.
- Provide daily in-person case support for our products in a clinical setting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all activities and communications.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to multiple stakeholders.
- Utilize CRM tools to document sales activities, manage accounts, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience. Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on surgical products is an additional asset.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Often 2-3 nights a week away from home.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Hologic recherche un(e) Spécialiste des ventes chirurgicales dynamique et motivé(e), possédant une expérience dans la vente de dispositifs médicaux, idéalement de produits chirurgicaux. Ce rôle consiste à promouvoir et vendre les solutions chirurgicales innovantes de Hologic auprès des professionnels de santé, à dépasser les objectifs de vente, à développer des relations clients solides et à assurer un support clinique en personne.
Responsabilités principales :
- Développer et exécuter des stratégies de vente en collaboration avec le Responsable de territoire
- Établir et entretenir des relations solides avec les parties prenantes du secteur de la santé (radiologues, chirurgiens, infirmiers/infirmières, administrateurs d'hôpitaux, etc.)
- Réaliser des démonstrations de produits, des formations et des ateliers éducatifs
- Collaborer avec les équipes marketing, service client et support clinique
- Collecter des informations sur les concurrents (produits, tarification, stratégies)
- Participer à des conférences et événements du secteur
- Fournir un support clinique en personne au quotidien
- Veiller au respect des exigences réglementaires
- Préparer et présenter des présentations, utiliser les outils CRM pour la documentation
Qualifications :
- Diplôme universitaire (Commerce, Sciences de la vie ou domaine connexe)
- Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience en ventes ou en clinique (dispositifs médicaux/pharma, produits chirurgicaux un atout)
- Bonne connaissance du système de santé canadien et des processus d'approvisionnement
- Excellentes compétences en communication, négociation et relations interpersonnelles
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des logiciels CRM
- Disponibilité pour des déplacements fréquents (2-3 nuits/semaine hors domicile)
- Permis de conduire valide et moyen de transport fiable
