Job description

We operate as a close-knit team and are looking to bring aboard our newest contributor. The position reports to the Controller

We are seeking a self-directed and experienced individual to join our Finance Team and contribute to ensuring the financial health of the company. Duties will include:

Accounts Payable

  • Processing Vendor invoices

  • Seeking correct approvals if needed

  • Entry to operating system

  • Processing of Payments Cheque/EFT/Wire

  • Generate Aged Trial balance when required

Accounts Receivable

  • Contacting Late Customers for Payments

  • Issuing Debit memos for other charges and credits for customer return

  • Reconciling Customer Accounts

Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Processing of Payments to PSS (Proactive Sales Specialists (contract staff))

  • Various Quarterly and Yearly Filings and Reconciliations

  • 1099 US Tax submission for US-based PSS

  • Monthly Sales Report Generation by Customer

*Qualifications**:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of Excel with good understanding of Vlookups and pivot tables

  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is a significant asset

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills

  • Self-motivated and self-directed

  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team

Salary & Location:

This is a permanent fulltime role at 40 hours per week. This position will be based at the company's office in Toronto, Ontario. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience
