Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC router to produce precision countertops according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

  • Operate CNC router and other related equipment to fabricate countertops to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining operations.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tools and fixtures.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure precision in production.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
  • Ability to operate crane and forklifts safely; certification preferred.
  • Competence in using hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
