Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for a commercial project. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting and/or structural steel fireproofing, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and customer satisfaction. This role requires proficiency in construction painting, restoration.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by grinding and cleaning as necessary.
  • Apply paint, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Perform restoration work on surfaces to remove rust using a grinder.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks (grinder).
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial painting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and techniques related to painting.
  • Aerial lift and fall protection certification is a must.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electric wireless paint sprayer.
  • Experience working with aerial lifts, working from heights, and working in a faced paced construction project.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
