Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyperson located in Vancouver, BC. The Journeyperson will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and dismantling scaffold structures. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, ensuring safety compliance, assembling scaffolding components, and troubleshooting any issues that arise on-site. The role requires collaboration with the installation crew to provide efficient and secure scaffolding solutions for various projects.

Qualifications

  • Scaffold installation, maintenance, and dismantling skills
  • Ability to read and interpret scaffold plans
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot on-site issues
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights
  • Experience in using various scaffold systems, including Layher brand
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Relevant certifications and experience in the industry are beneficial
