Key Responsibilities

As part of this high-profile infrastructure and industrial project, you will:

Set up surface power systems to support industrial and mining operations.

Install electrical infrastructure for underground mining applications.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Install and service underground communication systems for mining and industrial applications.

Work on complex generator and hydro systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Perform conduit, cable, and panel installations with precision and adherence to safety standards.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and mining environments.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and all safety regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Work efficiently to meet project timelines and quality standards.

What We're Looking For Qualifications

Red Seal Certification (Preferred, but experienced journeypersons working toward certification will be considered).

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience as a journeyperson working on commercial, industrial, or mining projects.

Strong expertise in surface power installations, underground mining electrical systems, conduit work, and troubleshooting.

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting mining equipment is a strong asset.

Experience installing and maintaining underground communication systems is a strong asset.

Proficiency in servicing complex generator and hydro systems is a strong asset.

Mining or heavy infrastructure experience is a strong asset.

Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code and ability to apply it effectively.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to electrical work.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License – Clean driving record required.
