We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handy Man to join our dynamic team In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including fixing leaks, repairing fixtures, and replacing worn-out parts across the facility
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues early and address them promptly
  • Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems accurately and safely
  • Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures, ensuring proper setup and functionality
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and tracking purposes
  • Respond quickly to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Collaborate with team members to plan maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience in general maintenance or repair work in commercial or residential settings
  • Proficiency with electrical testing tools, especially an ohmmeter, for diagnosing electrical issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks safely
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and HVAC is preferred
  • A positive attitude combined with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
