We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Handyman with proven experience in residential and/or commercial property maintenance within the Calgary area. The ideal candidate is capable of performing a wide range of repair, installation, and maintenance tasks with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including minor plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and basic electrical work.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Complete work orders efficiently and accurately while maintaining high workmanship standards.
  • Install fixtures, appliances, shelving, doors, locks, trim, and other household or commercial hardware.
  • Assemble furniture, equipment, and related items as required.
  • Ensure all jobs comply with Alberta building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to company policies.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members.
  • Provide accurate time estimates and updates on job progress.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–5 years of handyman or maintenance experience, preferably in Calgary or surrounding areas.
  • Strong knowledge of general home repair techniques and building systems.
  • Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment safely.
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Physically able to lift, carry, and perform hands-on tasks as required.
  • Bondable and able to pass a background check (if required).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
