Title: DLP policies management
Location: Toronto, CA
Description:
Support the migration of DLP policies from the existing platform to the new platform.
Ensure that all DLP policies, including data identification, classification, and monitoring, are accurately mapped and transferred to the new platform.
Review and validate current DLP policies and recommend necessary improvements to optimize detection and protection.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data protection requirements and adapt DLP policies to meet those needs.
DLP Policy Optimization: Evaluate and refine existing DLP policies to ensure they are properly configured for the new platform and aligned with organizational goals.
Develop and test new DLP policy templates for enhanced security and Fine-tune and optimize existing policies to minimize false positives and maximize the accuracy of DLP alerts.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with DLP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of DLP policies into the new platform.
Provide guidance and support to teams on DLP policy enforcement, data classification, and monitoring post-migration.
Work with appropriate incident response teams to monitor the effectiveness of DLP policies after migration.
Compliance and Reporting. Create detailed reports on the DLP migration process, policy configurations, testing results, and any changes made during the migration.
Training and Documentation:
Develop comprehensive documentation for all DLP policies, including configurations, rules, and migration steps.
3-5 years of experience in DLP policy management and implementation.
Proven experience with DLP platform migration or similar large-scale IT security migrations.
Familiarity with managing DLP platforms (e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Digital Guardian, Forcepoint, etc.) and cloud-based DLP solutions.
Strong understanding of data security and data protection best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize LP policies to minimize disruptions
Hands-on experience with DLP policy creation, modification, and migration while ensuring maximum data protection. AWS, Google Workspace).
Knowledge of advanced data loss prevention techniques like content inspection, behavioral analysis, and machine learning-based detection.
