Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Service Supervisor to oversee the daily service operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As the Restaurant Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience while managing staff, inventory, and compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily service operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
  • Manage and train staff in customer service protocols.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team.
  • Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and inventory management.
  • Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant premises.
  • Work alongside service staff throughout the day to assist with all tasks.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and cooking techniques.
  • Experience with team management, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is a plus.
