We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Support cooking staff by ensuring that all necessary ingredients are readily available.
  • Help with the plating and serving of dishes to ensure presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Follow food safety guidelines for proper food handling and storage to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Participate in inventory management by assisting in stock rotation and reporting low inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
