Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring a smooth flow of food service operations. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry and develop valuable skills related to food handling, kitchen operations, and food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen surfaces, appliances, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards
  • Support food preparation activities by ensuring all utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or contamination

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food handling and preparation support
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with physical stamina
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and hospitality
