An opportunity to join our growing team has become available, and we are currently seeking an Experienced Demolition Foreman.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily work activities for your crew.
- Oversee site procedures and overall operations.
- Enforce all health & safety rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, management, and office staff.
- Represent Evergreen in a positive and respectful manner.
- Determine and provide site materials, tools, and equipment.
- Supply site safety and task-related PPE, gear, and tools.
- Conduct site inspections, assess hazards, and implement control measures.
- Prepare site documents, reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Manage incidents, resolve issues, and handle site emergencies.
- Participate in incident investigations.
- Provide and monitor worker training.
- Ensure safe work standards and maintain site conditions.
- Arrive at site on time and notify the Site Superintendent if late or absent.
- Ensure sites are left clean, tidy, and safe at the end of each day.
Duties
- Hold site toolbox and safety meetings.
- Inspect PPE to ensure it is worn as mandated on site.
- Supervise the correct use of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Support crew members in performing their tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain communication between workers, management, and clients.
Competencies
- Strong leadership and ability to motivate workers.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and discipline workers when necessary.
- Teaching, training, and mentoring skills.
- Effective communication with workers, management, and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
