Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient office procedures, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of payroll and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient administrative support.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor expenses to maintain financial health.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage or Xero for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Experience:
  • Sage: 1 year (required)
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for management.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Manage the schedule of business travel.
  • Be a good listener.
  • Handle phone calls/correspondence with clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage or Xero preferred).
  • Experience with Sage 50, Excel and Word needed
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A degree in business administration or related field is a plus but not required.
