Prime Movers is looking to fill an Estimator/Sales Career Opportunity based out of our Leduc Alberta branch.

The candidate should be familiar with some of the areas below: Estimating, Project Management and Quote/Contract/Business Development in the following areas: Machinery Moving, Demolition, Forklift Operation, Jack & Roll, Rigging & Material Handling, Crane Operation, Transportation Class 1 or 3, Operation of Gantries and custom lift systems.

Job Summary:

Join our team at Prime Movers as an Estimator where you will play a crucial role in our projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with expertise in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation to accurately price projects and contribute to our success within the industrial moving industry.

Duties:

  • Utilize tools to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and tools/equipment required.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate pricing and timely completion of estimates.

  • Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.

  • Negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating.

  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple estimates simultaneously.

  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.

  • Knowledge of construction processes and materials.
