Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting project initiatives across various departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage advanced analytics tools and methodologies to drive strategic decision-making and operational improvements. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery within an Agile environment.

Duties

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.
  • Support project management activities including planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress within an Agile framework.
  • Design and optimize databases, including database schema development and data modeling using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other RDBMS.
  • Create detailed process flows and system diagrams utilizing Visio to facilitate understanding of workflows and system architecture.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Conduct data analysis using R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other analytical tools to identify patterns and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices during solution implementation.
  • Assist in database design, integration, testing, and validation activities to ensure data integrity and system performance.
  • Apply knowledge of Business Analysis techniques to improve existing processes or develop new solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Hands-on experience with SDLC processes for software development projects.
  • Strong programming skills in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), along with expertise in SQL for database querying (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Experience with database design, schema development, and data modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with Visio for creating process diagrams and system workflows.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of business analysis best practices including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
