Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Full-Time or Part-Time Barista/Cashiers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant café environment, providing excellent service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in coffee preparation, food service, or retail is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with attention to quality and presentation
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
  • Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure the café area is organized
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
  • Uphold a welcoming environment for all customers and team members

Experience

  • Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills
  • Experience in food safety, food handling, and basic food preparation techniques is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving, food safety, and cleanliness
