Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the Micros POS system for order processing, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
