What will you do?
- Lead the Inventory Control & Warranty Management teams.
- Oversee daily activities to ensure short and long-term department objectives are met.
- Provide guidance and support the on-going development of team members.
- Manage and oversee the execution on inventory counts across all sites.
- Ensure inventory accuracy & write-off targets are met.
- Develop and refine SOPs and provide training to Branches, Contractors and Warehouses.
- Creation of the inventory count schedule.
- Engage Operations teams to understand inventory management gaps and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Develop reporting and audit mechanisms to monitor Operations adherence to inventory management practices.
- Manage and oversee the warranty registration and claims process.
- Develop and refine SOPs and provide training to Branches.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reporting on key metrics.
- Manage relationships with key vendors with respect to warranty.
- Be an ambassador for continuous improvement both internally and with Operations teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Branches by maintaining a regular on-site presence.
What do you bring?
- 3-5 years Supply Chain experience & people management experience.
- University Degree or College Diploma.
- Leadership ability particularly in the areas of achieving outcomes through others, developing and maintaining positive working relationships, clarifying expectations and seeking understanding, and taking ownership and accountability for own and teams' performance.
- Ability to work within a team environment (as part of a team) and lead a team as demonstrated through previous work experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously, ability to be dynamic.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Active in presenting recommendations in a persuasive, professional and impactful way.
- Proven strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Computer proficiency in related system applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI).
