Looking for an experienced overnight machinery operator using a plow truck, loader and skid steer for snow clearing. Must be on payroll – biweekly pay. This position can transition into a Landscape construction position.

Job requires valid DRIVERS LICENSE (for at least 3 years for insurance, be over 25 years of age and have at least 3 years continuous insurance coverage) so you can drive a company vehicle/plow.

An end of season bonus will be available for those who are reliable, show up and work hard, at the end of of the season (mid April).

All candidates must be reliable, have an excellent work ethic, and be willing to work in all kinds of weather. All sites in Calgary

Must be willing to work weekends on call, 7 days a week, 24/7, mother nature calls the shots

Intermediate to advanced skidsteer/bobcat, loader and plow truck experience are required

Compliance with quality and safety standards have appropriate work gear and safety gear (winter boots). Must be on time for shifts, and work in a timely manner without compromising quality- we aim to get in and get out, fast and efficient.

Have consistent and reliable transportation to get to our yard to pick up your equipment located in the area of Manchester Industrial - Vast majority of the sites are not accessible by public transit

Proper use, care and inventory of company vehicles, equipment and tools

Salary: machinery operator 25-30/hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Experience:

  • snow removal machinery in a commercial setting: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence no GDL for at least 3 years in Alberta (required)
