Landform Inc. is a landscape construction company established in 2003 that services Calgary and the surrounding area. We offer Landscape Construction and Landscape Maintenance - creating and maintaining meaningful spaces such as parks, playgrounds, and restoration projects. In the winter we continue to support communities by offering Snow Removal services.

The **Snow Removal Operator** will report to their Foreman supervisor. Crews will meet each day on a snow removal site (Calgary and surrounding areas) or at the Landform yard as determined by their supervisor. You will be responsible for being properly dressed for working in the current weather conditions, including having your own CSA approved boots and gloves. Other PPE will be provided by Landform.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment
- Proficiently and safely use snow removal equipment such as plows, ATV’s, skid loaders, vehicles with plow blades, and other equipment used to perform snow removal
- Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner
- Experience driving large vehicles and be able to handle poor visibility, winter weather conditions and icy roads
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, while ensuring current landscape and property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow
- Work with early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays
- Recordkeeping of work completed at each site including times, services performed and equipment maintenance, and submit paperwork and documentation promptly at the end of each shift

**Who You Are**:

- Ability to efficiently drive skid steers and snow plows
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Be willing to listen, learn, follow direction and accept constructive criticism from crew leader
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Safely work around heavy equipment
- Ability to perform highly physical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, snowy weather
- Great time management skills; available for seasonal long hours, a clear schedule to work all hours of the day, any day of the week and a strong work ethic
- Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations
- Physical dexterity to handle prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, or walking.
- Enjoy being and working outdoors.
- Have your own transportation to and from sites.
- Previous snow removal experience is required.
- Reliable vehicle to get to sites.

**You must be available to work on-call, 24/7 for the duration of the snow season. Hours will vary depending on the weather and work environments.** We look forward to hearing from you

**Please note that once you are hired for this position, successful performance on this seasonal contract will lead to a full-time position as Full-Time Landform Employee **starting in spring 2024.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
