Position Summary
Are you ready to revolutionize student recruitment? Become the Manager of International Digital Recruitment within our Partnerships, Enrolment and External Relations (PEER) division. Your role will be pivotal in cultivating a dynamic enrolment pipeline through an agile and efficient recruitment strategy, harnessing the power of digital media to engage, convert, and retain students from around the world.
As the Manager, International Digital Recruitment, you'll collaborate closely with the Director, Marketing and Creative Services to drive our strategic communications framework. Your expertise will integrate cutting-edge digital marketing techniques and emerging technologies to amplify our national and global presence and recruitment efforts. You will lead operational activities, nurture partner relationships, and contribute to achieving our international enrolment targets with precision and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development of a strategic communications framework with an emphasis on responsiveness, impactful engagement, and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the Director and Manager, National Recruitment to align digital marketing strategies and ensure seamless coordination between marketing and recruitment efforts. This partnership optimizes the impact of digital recruitment campaigns to engage target audiences effectively across various regions and demographics.
- Strategically communicate with prospective international students throughout their journey.
- Utilize digital marketing strategies and multi-channel tools to optimize communications.
- Elevate data management and student engagement through automation tools and AI adoption.
- Develop and implement approved digital and social recruitment strategies to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with colleagues within Marketing and Creative Services for content optimization and brand consistency.
- Produce high-level analytics, prepare and present data analysis and evaluation of ROI, conversion rate, international enrolment diversity and digital engagement activity.
- Proactively pursue business development opportunities, partnerships and project initiatives, enabling the internationalization of the College and expanding digital recruitment outreach.
- Seek out technology that creates high-tech solutions and enables personalized engagement.
- Manage leads within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Utilize Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Direct Email Marketing (DEM), and manage the integration of multi-channel marketing automation tools.
- Employ student and alumni influencers to authentically connect with their peers on digital platforms.
- Manage performance metrics of agents, recruitment partners and online influencers.
- Influence pathways into the College by managing and nurturing key account relationships with agents, international institutions, governments, media agencies and news sources, digital advertising platforms and other organizations associated with international education.
- Plan, promote and host interactive virtual recruitment events, webinars, and livestreams.
- Develop and edit content for various forms of communication such as print, email, web, and social media.
- Develop and maintain digital resources to support admissions, recruiters, and agents, ensuring consistent and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the team to achieve business goals. Conducts one-on-one coaching and feedback sessions with direct reports.
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum 3-year Diploma/Degree in Communications and Media, Digital Marketing, Digital Engagement Strategy, Interactive Media Management, Business Administration, International Relations, International Business, Educational Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent and relevant experience in post-secondary international recruitment or admissions; relevant experience in sales or marketing roles will be considered. Leadership in private/public sectors with international, entrepreneurial outlook valued.
- Experience with social media strategy, global marketing or recruitment, with expertise in digital marketing and developing targeted social media campaigns.
- Proven experience in recruitment, marketing, or promotion, including setting goals, strategies, and pitching. International education experience is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in quantitative/qualitative market analysis, large data sets, and designing student/customer-centric solutions.
- Exceptional prioritization and management skills to handle high-volume tasks in a fast-paced service environment, with a keen focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build business strategies for student recruitment and sales growth.
- Proficient in CRM, email marketing, and creating marketing automation plans.
- Experienced in utilizing SEO techniques, including keyword research, writing optimized content, improving click-through rates, and enhancing user experience.
- Strong understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion principles and working within a highly diverse environment
- Strong skills in business strategic planning, market analysis, organizational and time management, problem-solving, decision-making, and exceptional written and oral communication in English.
