What you'll do

• Tax, Accounting & Compliance (TAC) — Prepare financial statements and working papers, and assist with accounting for investment companies, personal and corporate tax returns (T1, T2); trust returns (T3), partnership filings (T5013) and corporations with real estate or portfolio management activities.
• Perform portfolio bookkeeping and analysis tasks.
• Prepare and support compliance reporting (GST/QST and payroll remittances).
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, government agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Follow established procedures to ensure accuracy and support junior team members with advice and on-the-job coaching as needed.
• Use accounting software effectively (e.g., QuickBooks, Write-Up, CaseWare, TaxPrep) and the Microsoft Office suite.

What you need to succeed

• College diploma in Accounting (minimum requirement).
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• Practical experience with payroll and GST/QST is preferred.
• Comfortable using accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
