Who we are looking for:

WDHA/KSF is seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced seniors facility kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. This role is essential to ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our Elders, residents, families and guests.

Some Key Duties:

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during busy service periods.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages of supplies or equipment.
  • Assist during service times or support the cook when needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on sanitation practices.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in the hospitality industry.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $23.00 per hour
