Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oil/Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to efficiently install, repair, and replace tires while providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills are essential for success. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, and candidates should be comfortable working with various tools and equipment. The Tire Technician will play a vital role in ensuring vehicle safety and customer satisfaction through quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Perform wheel alignments, balancing, and other related automotive maintenance tasks
  • Conduct safety inspections to identify potential issues related to tires and suspension systems
  • Assist customers by explaining services needed and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire-related problems and perform necessary repairs
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including basic mechanical repairs
  • Uphold dealership standards for quality workmanship and customer service

Qualifications

  • Previous dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire maintenance
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized tire equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required during tire installation or removal
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
