We are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Packaging Team Leader to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Senior Packaging Operator will help oversee the daily operations of our packaging line, ensuring that our products are packaged efficiently and meet our quality standards. This role requires a technically knowledgeable who can troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brewery operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help manage and oversee all aspects of the packaging line operations, including scheduling and workflow.
- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the packaging line, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging equipment, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Help develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the packaging line.
- Train and mentor packaging line staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging line performance, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including health and safety protocols.
- Help in ordering packaging products and reporting in our Grist software system
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in a similar role within the brewing or beverage industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of packaging line equipment and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, including HACCP and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
