Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Network Analyst
to join our team in Montreal. This role is critical to maintaining and evolving our network infrastructure, ensuring reliable delivery service to both employees and passengers. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, dependable, professional, and a strong team player with a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support for LAN, WAN, WiFi, and PAN network components.
- Lead and participate in the design and implementation of new network infrastructure with partners and integrators.
- Deliver Tier III monitor and support for VIA Rail's networking environment.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high-quality resolution.
- Plan and execute patches and configuration updates for network and security infrastructure.
- Monitor bandwidth utilization and optimize performance.
- Support various infrastructure projects including network evolution, WiFi upgrades, LAN enhancements, and SD-WAN deployments.
- Ensure quality assurance of work performed by other resources.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Key Deliverables:
- Drive results through collaboration with partners and integrators.
- Deliver reliable and scalable network solutions.
- Maintain high standards of service delivery for critical infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

CISCO LAN, WAN, PAN, and Firewall (FWI)
technologies. - Proven professionalism, motivation, and alignment with team culture.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work
onsite 5 days/week
in Montreal – no exceptions.
