  • Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OHS regulations.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to maintain an organized storage system and optimize space utilization.
  • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety practices are followed at all times.
  • Support warehouse supervisor in training new staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system.

Experience

  • Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including cranes and forklifts, is essential.
  • Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety regulations is required.
  • Experience with order picking processes and shipping & receiving operations is advantageous.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is beneficial but not mandatory.
