**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate forklifts, Reach trucks, Stand Up Forks, Electric Walkie rider and Electric pallet jacks, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OHS regulations.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to maintain an organized storage system and optimize space utilization.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety practices are followed at all times.
- Support warehouse supervisor in training new staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system.

Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including cranes and forklifts, is essential.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety regulations is required.
- Experience with order picking processes and shipping & receiving operations is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is beneficial but not mandatory.
