Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining quality standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Follow all restaurant policies regarding guest services and food industry regulations

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guests
  • Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
  • Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and guest services standards
