Canada Atlas Technology Solutions Full time US$1,200,000 - US$2,000,000 per year

About the Role

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the next chapter of Workforce Management (WFM) at Atlas. You'll own the vision, strategy, and delivery for core WFM modules that power the global employment lifecycle: Onboarding, Offboarding, Time & Attendance, and Expense Management.

This is a high-impact role. You'll partner with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and country experts to build products that scale across 160 countries. You'll shape how workers join, engage, record time, submit expenses, and eventually offboard, all through a unified Atlas experience.

What You'll Own

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Build and maintain a multi-year roadmap for Workforce Management, aligned with Atlas' global platform strategy.
  • Define clear problem statements, business outcomes, and customer journeys for WFM modules.
  • Apply strong prioritization frameworks to balance customer needs, compliance requirements, operational scale, and business impact.
  • Set high-quality and experience standards across Onboarding, Offboarding, Time & Attendance, and Expense Management.

Execution & Delivery

  • Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences.
  • Use modern product and design tools like Figma to collaborate closely with Design and Engineering from discovery through delivery.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate discovery, requirements authoring, analysis, and delivery workflows.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Design in a fast-moving, iterative delivery model.
  • Drive end-to-end product development: discovery, requirements, specs, acceptance criteria, release planning, enablement, and post-launch measurement.
  • Partner with Ops and Customer Success to ensure smooth adoption and scalable processes.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead product conversations across internal teams, including Operations, Legal, Compliance, Payroll, Payments, Integrations, and Finance.
  • Influence without authority across global teams and senior leadership.
  • Raise the bar for product quality, prioritization rigor, and delivery discipline across the Product & Technology team

Data, Insights & Customer Empathy

  • Use qualitative research and quantitative data to validate problems and decisions.
  • Measure success through adoption, cycle time, data accuracy, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in every conversation.

What You Bring

  • 8 years of product management experience, with deep ownership in Workforce Management or adjacent HRIS/HCM domains, including experience building onboarding/offboarding flows, time tracking systems, or expense management products.
  • Great understanding and passion for AI, with proven record of implementing it within your existing products/platforms.
  • Proven success driving complex, multi-stakeholder products in a global or compliance-heavy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using prioritization frameworks to drive roadmap and delivery decisions.
  • Hands-on experience using Figma and modern product and design collaboration tools like Linear.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve speed, quality, and decision-making in the product development lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of workflow automation, rules engines, integrations, and data models.
  • A track record of simplifying complex processes into clean product experiences.
  • Strong communicator who can zoom out for strategy and zoom in for detail.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across global time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with EOR/PEO, global payroll, workforce compliance, or multi-country employment.
  • Exposure to marketplace ecosystems, API-driven products, or workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with design systems and AI-assisted product development at scale.

Why Atlas

At Atlas, you'll help build the world's most scalable, global employment platform. You'll work with a team that values speed, clarity, ownership, and craft. You'll get to shape products used by thousands of companies and workers across the globe.
