Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting human resources functions, vendor relationships, and maintaining an organized work environment.
Duties
- Oversee front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and visitor management
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate team management activities
- Handle resources responsibilities such as hiring,onboarding and employee records management
- Maintain filing systems and ensure document organization for easy retrieval
- Assist with vendor management, including ordering supplies and managing service contracts
- Support training & development initiatives for staff members
- Assist with budgeting tasks and financial record keeping
- Ensure proper phone etiquette and professional communication at all times
- Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and data entry
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervising experience or team management skills is preferred
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, human resources, and vendor management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Demonstrated ability to train & develop team members and support office operations effectively
- Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles is highly desirable
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
