Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers have an enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
  • Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
  • Handle cash transactions using the POS system, including processing payments accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
  • Strong math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
  • Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
