Job Summary :
Reporting to the Grow Supervisor, the Grow Team Member will be responsible for performing tasks related to plant cultivation.
Shift timings : Monday- Thursday ( 7:00 am to 5:00 pm )
Pay : CAD $ 21 per hour
Functions of the role include:
Transplanting, harvesting, pruning, nutrient application, taking cuttings, integrated pest management, pesticide application, destruction, sanitation duties and trellising of cannabis
Maintain healthy and thriving plants during all stages of cultivation (mother, clones, veg, flower, and cure)
Mixing plant nutrients in accordance with Master Grower
Ensure stock tanks and feed tanks are maintained
Ensuring product is cured and packaged for shipment
Maintain product quality standards during curing process
Maintaining accurate inventory of clones
Record accurate documentation of daily activities
Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to sanitation, cultivation, and processing
Maintenance and monitoring of facility systems
Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and records
Responsible for promptly reporting any deviations from SOPs
Responsible for adhering to safe work procedures and reporting hazards
Complete relevant forms, logs, and other documentation to meet the requirements of SOPs and Company Policies
Participate in company training on policies, procedures, and work methods
Assist in the mother rooms, trim, harvest, sanitation or other departments as needed
Perform other duties as may be required by management
Qualifications:
- Ability to sit, stand or kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic math skills
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Safe and reliable transportation
- Great work ethic
- Basic computer skills are an asset
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (food industry, pharmaceuticals) would be considered an asset
