ONE KIDS PLACE – Children's Treatment Centre provides rehabilitation and related support services for children and youth (up to the age of 19) and their families living in the Districts of Muskoka, Nipissing and Parry Sound. All staff will provide service within an interdisciplinary team environment committed to family-centered practice.

Position: Coordinator, Satellite Operations & Autism Services Development

Location: Huntsville, Parry Sound, New Liskeard, Kirkland Lake, Timmins (as required)
Effective: ASAP (6 month contract)
Status: Non-unionized
Job type: Contract, Part Time – 3 days per week

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Coordinator, Satellite Operations & Autism Services Development plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of One Kids Place Children's Treatment Centre by ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and consistent operations across satellite office locations.

This position provides on-site operational coordination, staff and facility support, and strategic advisory leadership to strengthen autism services and enhance service delivery for children, youth, and families within satellite communities. The role builds strong internal and external partnerships, promotes organizational values at satellite sites, supports evidence-informed practice, and contributes to continuous quality improvement across autism service delivery.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Report to the Director of Clinical Services for overall guidance and supervision
  • Provide day-to-day operational coordination and guidance to staff at satellite office locations
  • Deliver program- and service-specific leadership for the development and delivery of high-quality autism services for children, youth, and families
  • Ensure autism program development, clinical practices, and service philosophies align with the Centre's vision, mission, and values
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, families, satellite sites, and leadership to support equitable and responsive service delivery across the district
  • Promote consistency and standardization of service delivery models, workflows, and operational practices across satellite locations
  • Facilitate effective communication between satellite teams and leadership, identifying opportunities for operational, clinical, and service improvements
  • Monitor facility operations, including maintenance, safety, space utilization, and equipment needs
  • Liaise with One Kids Place facilities teams, landlords, and external vendors to address site-related requirements
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with community partners and stakeholders in a multi-stakeholder environment to support integrated and seamless service delivery
  • Promote One Kids Place autism services within satellite communities and collaborate on new initiatives and program enhancements
  • Provide strategic input into autism service pathways and service planning for satellite regions
  • Support evidence-informed clinical practices and alignment with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP)
  • Identify service gaps, emerging needs, and opportunities for program development within satellite communities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in child development, social work, or a related field (preferably within a health services environment)
  • Minimum of three to five (3–5) years of experience in children's services, autism services, or developmental services
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and autism service delivery models is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to family-centred, inclusive, and strengths-based service delivery
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and independent judgment
  • Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within interdisciplinary and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience working within a multi-stakeholder environment, fostering effective relationships to support coordinated service delivery and planning
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is considered an asset
  • Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and proof of insurance may be required
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by the sector

SOMMAIRE DU POSTE : Relevant du directeur des services cliniques, le coordonnateur des opérations des sites satellites et du développement des services pour l'autisme joue un rôle essentiel dans la réalisation de la mission du Centre de traitement pour enfants La place des enfants en assurant des opérations de haute qualité, coordonnées et uniformes dans l'ensemble des sites satellites.

Ce poste comprend la coordination opérationnelle sur place, le soutien au personnel et aux installations, ainsi qu'un rôle de conseil stratégique visant à renforcer les services pour l'autisme et à améliorer la prestation de services aux enfants, aux jeunes et aux familles des communautés satellites. Le titulaire du poste établit des partenariats solides, tant internes qu'externes, promeut les valeurs organisationnelles dans les sites satellites, soutient les pratiques fondées sur des données probantes et contribue à l'amélioration continue de la qualité des services offerts aux personnes autistes.

FONCTIONS DU POSTE :

  • Rendre compte au directeur des services cliniques pour l'encadrement et la supervision généraux.
  • Assurer la coordination opérationnelle quotidienne et le soutien du personnel des bureaux satellites.
  • Assurer le leadership des programmes et services pour le développement et la prestation de services de haute qualité destinés aux enfants, aux jeunes et aux familles autistes.
  • Veiller à ce que le développement des programmes, les pratiques cliniques et les philosophies de service soient conformes à la vision, à la mission et aux valeurs du Centre.
  • Assurer la liaison entre le personnel, les familles, les sites satellites et la direction afin de garantir une prestation de services équitable et adaptée aux besoins de chacun dans l'ensemble du district.
  • Promouvoir la cohérence et l'harmonisation des modèles de prestation de services, des processus et des pratiques opérationnelles dans les différents sites satellites.
  • Faciliter la communication entre les équipes des sites satellites et la direction, et identifier les pistes d'amélioration opérationnelle, clinique et de service.
  • Superviser le fonctionnement des installations, notamment la maintenance, la sécurité, l'utilisation des espaces et les besoins en équipement.
  • Assurer la liaison avec les équipes des installations de La place des enfants, les propriétaires et les fournisseurs externes afin de répondre aux exigences liées aux sites.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations de travail efficaces avec les partenaires et les intervenants communautaires dans un contexte multipartite afin de favoriser une prestation de services intégrée et harmonieuse.
  • Promouvoir les services de La place des enfants pour l'autisme dans les communautés satellites et collaborer à de nouvelles initiatives et à l'amélioration des programmes.
  • Contribuer à l'élaboration de parcours de services et à la planification des services pour l'autisme dans les régions satellites.
  • Soutenir les pratiques cliniques fondées sur des données probantes et l'harmonisation avec le Programme ontarien des services en matiére d'autisme (POSA).
  • Identifier les lacunes en matière de services, les besoins émergents et les possibilités de développement de programmes dans les communautés satellites.
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe assignée.


QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Formation postsecondaire en développement de l'enfant, en travail social ou dans un domaine connexe (de préférence dans le secteur de la santé)
  • Minimum de trois à cinq (3 à 5) ans d'expérience dans les services à l'enfance, les services aux personnes autistes ou les services aux personnes ayant des troubles du développement
  • La connaissance du Programme ontarien des services en matiére d'autisme (POSA) et des modèles de prestation de services en autisme est un atout
  • Engagement démontré envers une prestation de services axée sur la famille, inclusive et fondée sur les forces
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication verbale, écrite et interpersonnelle, et fortes aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes
  • Grand professionnalisme, discrétion et jugement indépendant
  • Capacité éprouvée à travailler de façon autonome et en collaboration au sein d'équipes interdisciplinaires et géographiquement dispersées
  • Expérience de travail dans un environnement multipartite, favorisant des relations efficaces pour appuyer la prestation et la planification coordonnées des services
  • Le bilinguisme (anglais et français, parlé et écrit) est un atout
  • Permis de conduire valide, accès à un moyen de transport fiable et preuve d'assurance peuvent être exigés
  • Preuve de vaccination contre la COVID-19, conformément aux exigences du secteur
