Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in office software and strong communication skills to effectively handle inquiries and support our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records, including filing documents
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
  • Handle administrative duties such as typing, proofreading, and organizing files
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain the front desk area to ensure it is welcoming and organized
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members
  • Support medical or dental office operations by understanding relevant procedures

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective phone etiquette and strong verbal communication abilities
  • Previous clerical experience in an office setting is preferred
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Customer service experience, particularly in a medical or dental office environment, is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
