Job Description
Bond Consulting Group, celebrating 20+ years in business, is the largest independent SR&ED-only firm in Canada, currently experiencing exponential growth. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Services Specialist to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will serve as a bridge between clients and the company's SR&ED Analyst & Partners providing strategic finance and tax advice. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional service will be key in enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Act as an important internal contact for promoting strategic finance and tax advice to a large client list.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and support.
- Understand client needs in finance, risk, and tax to communicate options that maximize SR&ED tax incentives.
- Support analysts and clients with professional, solution-oriented interactions.
- Assist clients with the explanation of financial strategies and tax-related choices.
- Recommend financial structures and choices that are optimal for SR&ED clients.
- Support clients with innovative tax strategies and planning.
- Communicate tax deadlines where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, plans, and tax documentation.
- Prepare reports and summaries for both clients and internal use.
- Build rapport with clients
- Invite clients to social events from time to time
- Invite clients to provide feedback to the firm, fill out satisfaction surveys
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, CPA or other relevant disciplines.
- 3-5 years' experience in administration, preferably within a Professional Services Firm (management consulting or accountancy)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly explain complex financial and tax concepts to clients
- Solid understanding of financial statements and Canadian corporate tax returns
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM systems
- Experience in the SR&ED industry or with SR&ED processes is an asset
- Training available for the right candidate
Additional Pay:
- Bonus + other incentives
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
