Are you a strategic leader passionate about inclusive, sustainable housing solutions? The City of Peterborough is seeking a
Manager, Housing
to lead the delivery of social and affordable housing programs across our community.

This impactful role oversees housing strategies, legislative compliance, stakeholder engagement, and the centralized waitlist. It also stewards the Peterborough Housing Municipal Services Corporation and supports the City's commitment to equity, inclusion, and community well-being.


Key Responsibilities Include:

Program leadership and service delivery

Governance, policy development, and compliance

Strategic planning and affordable housing development

Stakeholder and community engagement

Financial oversight and reporting

People leadership and operational management


Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field (Honours preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in housing or municipal services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • In-depth knowledge of housing legislation and programs
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with financial and project management
