Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS.
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Monitor food safety practices during food preparation and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is prefered but not required
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
  • Experience with cashiering duties, including operating POS systems such as Micros POS.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
