Job Summary

Pho Daddy is seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, operating POS systems, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers and supporting smooth restaurant operations. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems.
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food preparation and handling
  • Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
  • Assist in stocking supplies and restocking food items as needed
  • Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and sanitation guidelines

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS systems is Ideal.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is advantageous

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
