What you'll do:

The Administrative Services Assistant, CAO Office, is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, in person, 5 days a week, and providing a range of administrative support services. This includes assisting in the coordination of meetings and special events and participating in special projects. The role serves as the primary public-facing contact for customer inquiries, ensuring professional and efficient communication.
  • Administrative & Customer Support: Greet and assist the public, residents, community groups, and internal staff with inquiries about local government services. 
  • Office Operations: Handle front counter interactions, including receiving payments, balancing monthly cash, and managing incoming/outgoing mail and courier services. Order and manager office supplies. 
  • Support for the Office of the CAO: Assist in planning and setting up meetings and special events, preparing and submitting expense reports, and other general administrative tasks as needed. 
In accordance with County Policy, a Police Record Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.
