Newstead Academy Child Care is seeking a responsible Chef to work on daily snacks and meals for our children and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking care of daily and weekly food preparation.
  • Able to manage lunch and dinner meals for over 300 students and staff.
  • Effective time management throughout the day when cooking meals and food preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ensuring the preparation of food are the highest quality at all times.
  • Able to have effective communication between kitchen staff and Head Chef

Qualifications

  • Food Handlers Certificate
  • 2 years experience as a sous Chef.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8 hours between 8-7.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
