About the Role: Research Project Manager
We're looking for a Research Project Manager to help lead and coordinate our research projects from start to finish, making sure every client study runs smoothly, on time, and with scientific precision.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand each study's goals.
- Translate study objectives into actionable plans for our research team.
- Present project plans, next steps, and timelines to clients.
- Coordinate and support research teams across different locations.
- Keep clients updated, answer questions, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Schedule and lead project meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Manage logistics, invoicing, and payments with clients and research partners.
Qualifications
:
- Previous experience running scientific human research.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
- Great communication and customer service abilities.
- Leadership: ability to lead and manage projects, ability to guide team members.
- Familiarity with IRB submissions and research protocol design is an asset.
- Experience supervising research teams and keeping projects on track.
- An analytical and proactive mindset, always finding better, faster ways to get things done.
- Excellent teamwork skills: collaborating with team members, clients, scientists, researchers and executives.
- Critical thinking/problem solving skills: demonstration of good judgement to make appropriate decisions.
- A background in psychology, neuroscience, health sciences, or a related field is an asset.
- Willingness to learn and grow into leadership roles in a fast-growing company.
- Live in or can easily commute to Hamilton, Ontario.
