Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and flexible Administrative Assistant who takes ownership of their role and brings strong professionalism, reliability, and adaptability. The ideal candidate has solid clerical and communication skills, is proficient with office software, and can manage daily administrative tasks while supporting smooth office operations. Experience in construction is an asset but not required. If you are organized, motivated, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone system with professional phone etiquette
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle filing systems, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to support daily operations
- Provide customer support via phone and in person, assisting clients with inquiries and appointment scheduling
- Support bookkeeping activities including basic bookkeeping tasks and record keeping for billing purposes
- Maintain organized office environment and ensure all administrative processes run efficiently
- Small errands may be required, banking deposits, cheque pickups, order pickup/dropoff, own transportation would be beneficial
Experience
- Prior administrative experience is preferred, especially in Construction office settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Strong computer skills including data entry
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Customer service experience with a professional demeanor and effective communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle clerical responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
