Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental practice.The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional setting where your skills in dental assisting and medical terminology will be essential for success.

Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
  • Manage patient records accurately using Abeldent software
  • Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Support managing patient flow
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
  • Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity using Abeldent
  • Certified Level II Dental Assistant HARP Certified
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization procedures that complies with IPAC
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Ability to work well within a team of dental professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
