Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental practice.The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional setting where your skills in dental assisting and medical terminology will be essential for success.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist the dentist during various procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Manage patient records accurately using Abeldent software
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support managing patient flow
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity using Abeldent
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant HARP Certified
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization procedures that complies with IPAC
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to work well within a team of dental professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
