Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of metal fabrication experience within the sign industry .
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and fabrication designs.
  • Proficient with tools , equipment , and machinery such as shear , roller , brake press.
  • Some welding experience for tacking / fitting.
  • Demonstrated leadership or lead-hand experience.
  • Strong communication , organization , and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Lead and support the metal fabrication team in daily tasks and productions goals .
  • Fabricate sign components using industry-standard equipment including Shears , rollers, brake press ,grinders and various hand tools.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings , blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy , quality , and consistency in all fabricated components .
  • Coordinate workflow , delegate tasks , and monitor progress.
  • Train and mentor junior fabricators , promote safe work practices
  • Assist with problem-solving , improvements , and fabrication planning
  • Work closely with other supervisors and departments to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean , organized , and safe work environment
