We efficiently serve growers' needs and strive to provide a more profitable, sustainable, and secure future for all stakeholders.  Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.  This role will be based out of Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Portfolio, the Finance Portfolio Delivery Manager provides the day-to-day oversight of project delivery across the Finance portfolio, ensuring disciplined execution, proactive resourcing, and timely escalation to the Senior Manager. This role partners closely with Finance leaders, IT, FP&A, and vendors to deliver outcomes aligned to enterprise priorities. This position is located on-site with occasional travel for key planning, steering, or cutover events, and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements. What you will do:Portfolio Delivery & GovernanceOwn the daily delivery rhythm: drive stand-ups with PMs, track milestones/critical path, manage RAID logs, and rapidly unblock issues.Maintain portfolio-level integrated schedules, dependencies, and change control; ensure stage-gate compliance and documentation quality.Escalate portfolio-level risks, issues, and interdependencies with clear options, impacts, and recommended decisions.Oversee project-to-project integrations, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and interdependency management across the portfolio.Embed best practices, standards, and compliance discipline across all portfolio initiatives.Resource, Onboarding & Vendor ManagementLead capacity planning and staffing (employees, contractors, partners) against demand; oversee onboarding, role clarity, and knowledge transfer.Administer PMO tools and ensure adoption, usability, and data quality across teams.Optimize allocation across projects; flex resources to protect critical path and quarter-end/FP&A timelines.Partner with Procurement/Supply Chain on SOWs, extensions, and vendor performance.Financials & PlanningSupport portfolio budgets/forecasts, variance analysis, and benefits tracking; ensure data quality for FP&A submissions.Deliver and sustain a robust benefits management framework to track, measure, and report on realized value.Guide business cases and estimates; enforce consistent financial controls across projects.Stakeholder, Change & AdoptionBuild strong partnerships with Finance sponsors, IT leaders, and SMEs; ensure transparent status and decision logs.Partner with Change Management to drive business readiness (training, comms, cutover, hypercare) and measurable adoption.Implement a lessons learned process to capture insights and embed continuous improvement into future initiatives.PMO Excellence (COE)Coach PMs/BAs/Scrum Masters on delivery methods (predictive/agile), risk discipline, and quality.Identify and implement portfolio-level process improvements; evolve PMO standards, tools, and templates.Contribute to performance dashboards, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.What you will bring:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.8+ years in project/program delivery with 3–5+ years leading portfolios or large programs in a corporate environment.PMP (or PgMP) strongly preferred; Agile/Scrum and/or Prosci/change credentials valued.Proven resource management across matrixed teams and vendors; strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.Solid financial acumen (budgets, forecasting, benefits) and comfort engaging FP&A.Exceptional communication and executive-ready storytelling; able to influence at VP/SVP level.Tool fluency: Microsoft Project/Project for the Web (or equivalent), Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, Teams, SharePoint; exposure to ServiceNow/PPM (or similar), Miro/Whiteboarding. Experience with Finance/SAP-centric initiatives is an asset.Ready to make an impact with us?
