We are making space for an amazing Trauma Therapist to work with our clients in-person in our busy, modern Hamilton clinic

About Us

We are a warm community of Registered Psychotherapists who specialize in trauma and relationship issues using modalities such as EMDR, AF-EMDR, IFS, Somatic, EFT and more. We all have a trauma-focused practice but each of us also bring our own niche expertise and interests as therapists.

Our busy Hamilton location is designed to feel peaceful and kind to the nervous system. And it is important to us that we offer a truly trauma-informed space.

This is a collaborative (super supportive) team suited to someone interested in taking up space with us, and creating a home for your therapist parts.

About You

You are self-led, honest and ethical as both a therapist and Independent Contractor. You have strong communication skills. You are warm and down to earth, and you have a solid grasp on your own self-care.

You also live within a 25 min drive to the office.

Qualifications

• Must have a fully completed Masters degree in the related field with practicum finished.

• 2 Years post-graduate experience as a Registered Psychotherapist.

• Post-graduate training and experience providing trauma-informed care using bottom-up approaches (e.g., SE, EMDR, IFS or others like ACT, EFT, Gestalt).

• Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as an RP

• Available for 20 or more client hours weekly.

• Must have liability insurance.

• Committed to your own ongoing learning and supervision/consultation to ensure high quality support for our clients.

• Can provide timely responses to communications.

You must also be living and practicing in Canada right now, and currently licensed to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy in the province of Ontario.

Pay: $110.00-$125.00 per hour
