Assistant Manager

Notre Dame Castle Building Centre is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Twillingate location. We are a local, family owned and operated business, with ten locations across Newfoundland and Labrador. As Assistant Manager, you will be a highly skilled, motivated individual with a strong work ethic and proven management abilities. Come join our team and help us continue to meet the needs of local homeowners and contractors with professionalism and vision.

Duties include:

  • Possess strong salesmanship, be responsible for sales performance and customer service issues
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to customer needs and willingness to build sincere relationships
  • Effectively manage employee work scheduling, engage and motivate team members with energy and optimism
  • Responsibilities include appropriate merchandising supervision throughout the store and warehouse from displays to pricing, and inventory turnover
  • Provide leadership in educating staff and customers on warranty and credit policies, product knowledge and procedures
  • Responsible for general operational concerns of the business from security to product logistics
